Welcome
to Craigmyle Bed & Breakfast, the original English-style B&B in
Victoria, British Columbia.
Craigmyle was built in 1913 and is located in the historic Rockland
neighbourhood. It was designed by renowned residential architect,
Samuel McClure, designer of
Hatley Castle in nearby Colwood.
Owners Jim and Kathy Pace have offered economical lodgings to those
visiting Victoria for over 20 years. We offer affordable rates and
comfortable rooms to suit your accommodation needs, whether you're a
single traveller, a couple on vacation, or a family on a weekend
getaway. We are an Approved Accommodation with Tourism BC, and have
been listed in both The Lonely Planet and Fodor's travel guides.
If you’re interested in sight seeing, Craigmyle may be the perfect
launching point for your adventures. We are only steps away from one
of Victoria’s premier landmarks,
Craigdarroch Castle – you may even have a view of the castle
from your room! Take a stroll to
Government House, or peruse the
Art Gallery. Two major bus routes are accessible from nearby
Fort and Yates Sts, which service both downtown and the University
of Victoria. Or, if you’re up for a walk, it’s one mile from
Craigmyle to downtown. We suggest taking Fort St (also called
Antique Row).
Travelling on business? Public transit offers cost-effective access
to downtown, the University of Victoria and both the Royal Jubilee
and Victoria General hospitals.
